What is your role at Adtrans Hino?
"I am Mascot’s Service Advisor and my role is liaising with clients and technicians for truck services and repairs."
How long have you held this job for? Tell us a bit about your working history.
"I was introduced to the Automotive Industry by mistake, I was studying Psychology at university until I was offered a job as a Receptionist in a car dealership. I was there for about two years and decided to move on and do Service Advising. Adtrans Hino gave me the opportunity to learn and progress my skills and knowledge to do so. I have been at Adtrans Hino for about 6 years now."
What is it like being the female in the workshop?
"I have to admit it's not always easy, but it is great fun. I'm always learning something new every day and the team in the Workshop are an awesome bunch. I wouldn't have it any other way."
Describe your typical day?
"My day starts off with meeting and greeting customers for the morning drop-off for services and/or repairs. Once orders are created, I liaise with the Workshop to complete customer’s orders. Once jobs are completed, I process invoices and customer is contacted. The day is filled phone calls, emails, administration and helping out where I can."
What do you love about your job?
"I love the people I work with, I think that makes a huge difference in a workplace. I’m lucky to have a great team."
