As part of this partnership, Adtrans Hino has provided OzHarvest with a Hino 300 Series truck for two years, including servicing and maintenance support. This contribution ensures their team can stay focused on what matters most — rescuing food and delivering it to those who need it.
By removing vehicle costs, this support helps OzHarvest redirect $40,000–$45,000 annually, enabling the delivery of up to 90,000 additional meals each year to vulnerable communities.
Founded in 2004, OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation. Their mission is simple but powerful: to stop food waste and feed people in need.
Each day, OzHarvest collects quality excess food from supermarkets, restaurants, cafés and producers — food that would otherwise go to waste — and delivers it directly to charities supporting people experiencing hardship.
Beyond food rescue, OzHarvest also delivers education programs to reduce food waste, rRuns community cooking and nutrition initiatives and supports vulnerable Australians with access to nutritious meals.
