Adtrans 2022 Roadshow Highlights
On Tue 22 August, our Adtrans dealership, located in Smeaton Grange NSW, was transformed into an outdoor showroom, littered with an array of our Next-Generation Hino Trucks.
The occasion – in celebration of Hino Australia’s 80th Anniversary, Hino took a fleet of trucks on the road, starting in Townsville and heading down along the east coast of Australia.
Adtrans Hino were proud to host one of the legs of the Roadshow tour, held at our Adtrans Hino Smeaton Grange dealership. Over the 2 days (22 – 23 Aug 2022), customers were invited to head into our branch to view the Hino range.
On hand we had Hino experts available throughout the day to answer any questions, on our full range of trucks - not often you get the opportunity to inspect up close and personal such a large selection of our Truck range all in one location.
Visitors and customers were able to roam the Adtrans Hino yard and really get a feel for our trucks whilst having a personal tour guide and expertise on hand, and of course enjoy the opportunity to take some of our trucks for a test drive, including the all-new Hino 700 series. And what a beauty she is.
The day was a truly rare event with access to the Hino range, a great opportunity for us at Adtrans to meet some of our locals, give them an opportunity to experience ‘The Hino Advantage’ and care we’ve taken when building our trucks to ensure we continue to deliver on our QDR promise (Quality, Durability, Reliability).
The weather worked in our favour, sporting us with a beautiful blue sky throughout the two days, with the exception of a few scattered storm clouds toward the end of day one, providing a beautiful backdrop for our truck range.
We were exceptionally happy with the outcome of the day, being able to provide access to our customers with a range of Hino products, Hino experts on site, an appearance from our Hino Ambassador Neil Crompton, the chance to test drive our vehicles and an opportunity to view our One Toyota Partner range of the latest Toyota vehicles; Material Handling equipment, the showstopper Mirai, Toyota’s first hydrogen fuel cell car and their Lexus LFA, a unique Supercar with only 500 manufactured in the world.

The days’ activities ranged from a series of presentations from Hino Australia experts, talking about Hybrids, Hino Product Update and Hino-Connect. All presented from within our Hino Sports Deck, with its recent upgrade of an upper deck to allow panoramic views, encompassing 40ft floor space and towed by our 700 series of course.

Meet Adriana and Alessandro, owners of ‘A Slice of Italy’, who are taking their mobile Italian street food experience on the road in our Hino 300 series, who kept our customers and visitors well nourished with a selection of their authentic Italian Pizzas
We’d like to thank everyone for making this event a reality. All our staff and vendors who worked behind the scenes to ensure logistics went smoothly.
